What we found when rewatching the show was that it was about so much more than just nostalgia for the 90s. Its a show that was created with great care and great respect for the Indigenous culture it represented. It sought to tell real, brave stories about the challenges people in Indigenous communities faced (and face to this day). North of 60 walked so shows like Reservation Dogs and North of North could run, and most importantly - North of 60 is at risk of being forgotten.
